Sr-Vice Commandant. Bob Tallent
Update on work day at Vietnam Veterans center. Ray Trevino in charge. Presentation on the proposed Capt. Jeb F. Seagle Memorial race as a fundraiser by Jim Sitterly. Motion to sponsor race by Bob Tallent, second Ray Trevino. Motion carried seventeen to two.

Rifle Detail. Family picnic. Officer installation. Pot luck covered dish next meeting.

Funeral for a Marine on Feb 8th at 2 P.M.

OLD BUSINESS
Discussion on meal for the installation of Officers. Motion made by Bob Tallent to accept Home Place as the server. Second by Chris Duschel. Motion carried.

Motion made by Ray Trevino for a $5.00 donation by each member and guest excluding invited guest to help cover the cost of the meal at the installation of Officers. Second by Chris Duschel. Motion carried.

All High Schools have the application for the Scholarship.

NEW BUSINESS
A date will be set at the March meeting for the Detachment yard sale.

GOOD OF THE DETACHMENT
A special thanks to the Detachment from Jerry and Mary Canipe.
Mark Baldwins unit in Iraq Dedicates a American flag flown over their Headquarters to the Jeb F. Seagle Detachment. Sgt-at-arms has custody of the flag.

Up date on the health of Bob Tallent and Elenor Briggs. Ray Trevino makes a motion the Detachment helps with the purchase and installation of a shower unit in the Briggs home as she can not use the existing tub due to her health. $570.05 will cover the cost. Second by Bob Tallent. Motion carried. Steve Reep suggest a fund raiser be used to help with the cost.

                  Judge Advocate withdraws his name from contention for the position of
                  Commandant. He feels it would be better for the Detachment if the existing 
                  Officers remain in their positions for one more year.
